Yes, but compliance depends on the software you choose.

In Canada, clinics need to follow privacy laws like PIPEDA, and in Ontario, additional requirements such as PHIPA apply. As a result, it’s important to use a system that is designed to support these obligations.

WriteUpp is designed with these requirements in mind and supports clinics in managing sensitive information securely and responsibly.

We hope this doesn't happen but if you decide to stop using WriteUpp you can export your client/patient details, appointments, notes and invoice history from within the application.

Your data is stored in a secure data centre in the EU. In addition, your data is a replicated to a separate vault in a geographically separate location.
